Privacy

Last updated: 24 October 2026

Short version: no tracking cookies, no analytics, no ads. We only use your data to deliver your files, help you and keep the records the law requires.

Who is responsible

The data controller is the person who runs SpriteStage: its founder, a private individual based in Italy. Contact: hello@spritestage.com.

Visiting the site

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data (IP address, browser, pages requested) to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. We set no cookies for tracking, analytics or advertising, so there is no cookie banner.

Buying

Payments are handled by Link, part of Stripe, as merchant of record and independent controller of your payment data (Link privacy policy). We never see your card details. From Stripe we receive your name, email, country and order details, and use them to deliver the files, help you, handle refunds and meet tax and accounting obligations. Order records are kept as long as tax law requires.

Writing to us

Emails to hello@spritestage.com pass through Cloudflare Email Routing and reach our mailbox. We keep them as long as needed to help you.

Newsletter

If you join our list, we use your email only to announce new stages, with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link. The list is not active yet: this section will name the mailing service when it is.

Instagram

If you write to us on Instagram, Meta processes the conversation under its own policy.

Legal bases

Delivering your purchase and support (contract, GDPR art. 6(1)(b)); tax records (legal obligation, art. 6(1)(c)); newsletter (consent, art. 6(1)(a)); site security (legitimate interest, art. 6(1)(f)).

Transfers outside the EU

Cloudflare and Stripe may process data in the United States, under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, receive it in a portable format and withdraw consent: write to hello@spritestage.com. You can also complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or to the authority of your country.
